The best weight loss supplements are everywhere...

You remember the feeling you got the last time you were in the nutrition store,

Confusion!

Just look at the shelves in any nutrition store and you will find many weight loss products. They all have one thing in common, they all claim to be "the best".

So we know one thing...

Only one can be telling the truth. The last time I checked there can only be one best? Right?

In the world of weight loss, determining the best weight loss supplements can be extremely difficult. Some products work for some people and not others and the ones that do work for the others don't work for others....

There may not be any "best" ones out there, but there are some good supplements on the market, all of which possess the same guidelines.

Guideline # 1: A supplement must be safe.

By safe, we mean healthy. That is to say that it must contain NO preservatives or artificial additives (You can eliminate the majority of products right there).

Most companies producing "the best weight loss supplements" don't have your weight loss as their # 1 goal. Their # 1 goal is money. They know that if a product doesn't taste good you aren't buying, regardless of if it works! To make it taste good they load it down with artificial sweeteners.

As a matter of fact most weight loss products make you GAIN WEIGHT because they are loaded with artificial sweeteners. These convert into fat in the body.

It is easy to check if a product has anything artificial. All you need to do is read the label. Some ingredients are cleverly disguised though. For instance, aspartame is an artificial sweetener found in many weight loss shakes (Not Good). If you are not certain about an ingredient, ASK!

Guideline # 2: If it claims to be magic, IT'S NOT!

There is no such thing as a magic weight loss pill. Any product claiming that it, in and of itself, will cause you to lose weight is one of two things: Un-safe or Un-effective.

People are so desperate to lose weight that they will believe most anything. They are taken advantage of by companies who know this and will simply put some fancy advertising on a product claiming that it is magic.

The latest craze has been products that contain ephedrine. Ephedrine is a potential stimulant that is said to increase your metabolism. Many have claimed to lose weight taking products that contain ephedrine.

However, there are many unhealthy ways to lose weight. The negative side effects of ephedrine and products that contain similar ingredients are well documented.

Guideline # 3: You do not need weight loss supplements to lose weight.

It is true that healthy weight loss supplements can help you lose weight by promoting proper body functioning, as well as helping you eliminate poor food choices.

However, the best weight loss supplements are not supplements at all. They are habits! Supplements should never take the place of great weight loss habits. You can lose a lot of weight incredibly fast simply by following the right keys.

There are some very good "best weight loss supplements" out there, but they are just supplements. They supplement a good weight loss program.
